Bank form
This form might be helpful to obtain the student visa. There are
other possiblities to proof sufficient financial background for the
study period. Please contact the embassy in your country for details.
University housing
To register for housing please use the mentioned form and transfer
the deposit and rent for the first month to the given bank account.
Email or fax the signed form to the COMMAS office.
Forms sent via email should be in PDF format only with the Subject line (without quotes):
"COMMAS Housing 2012 (App. Nr.: xxx)" (where xxx is your application number).
German language class
The program starts with an obligatory intensive german
language class for the non-native german speaking students.
The Department of Intercultural Training offers and organizes
this course which includes not only studying the german language but
also social support and cultural aspects.
Please inform the COMMAS office via email (mscinfo@commas.uni-stuttgart.de)
whether you would like to attend the german language course.
Please use the Subject line (without quotes):
"Intensive German Language Course 2012 (App. Nr.: xxx)" (where xxx is your application number).

Welcoming service
This service is offered by the Office of International Affairs.
They find other students to help you to get around and to arrange the
most important things in the first days. If you feel that you need
this help please register by using the provided form. If you don't register for
this service we can not provide much help.
Possible subjects are:
Picking you up from the airport, moving into university housing,
opening bank account, help on residence permit at Foreign Registration Office,
filling in enrollment form and enrolling at the student office at university,
getting health insurance, getting liability insurance, etc.
