General Admission Requirements |
The technical/ scientific requirements
for international students are:
- a school certificate authorizing the holder to enter a university or an authorization
regarded as equivalent by the Board of Examination of COMMAS and
- a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Natural Science or a related field, or
- a "Diplom" degree (U, FH, BA), or
- a "Vordiplom" and examinations in additional core courses.
Non-native speakers of English
- TOEFL score of at least 213 points in the computer-based test as proof of sufficient knowledge
of the English language. The IELTS (Overall Band Scale 6.5) or the APIEL test (3.0 Points) are considered to be equivalent.
Applicants from China
- have to get their documents certified from the "Akademische Prüfstelle des Kulturreferates der Deutschen Botschaft Peking" (APS).

- Application Form
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Statement of Purpose
- TOEFL/IELTS Score Report
- High School certificates
- University Entrance Examination (if applicable)
- University Degree Certificate (if the studies are concluded)
- Full University Transcript (with clear indication of the overall average)
- Two Recommendation Letters (facultative)
- APS (Applicants from China)
- Additional Certificates (Language Certificates, Paper Presentations, Work Experience, ...)
Please note that we have no institutional code and thus the TOEFL and GRE should be sent directly to us together with the other application documents.
